In contrast to the basil, the seed disc/plate worked well here. The seedlings managed to sprout through the fleece and the fleece retained the moisture well. The mix of lettuces has worked well and since early summer until today we have been able to re-harvest well despite the big heat wave. The box is on the north side and continues to thrive better than all the other lettuces in the bed.

Im Gegensatz zum Basilikum hat hier die Saatscheibe/-platte gut funktioniert. Die Keimlinge haben es nämlich geschafft durch das Vlies zu treiben und das Vlies hat die Feuchtigkeit gut bewahrt. Die Mischung der Salate ist gut gelungen und seit dem Frühsommer bis heute können wir gut nachernten trotz der grossen Hitzewelle. Der Kasten steht auf der Nordseite und gedeiht weiterhin besser als alle anderen Salate im Beet.
