Berk Incense Burner Tender Little Flower with Screen: Unit: 1 piece

For incense of resins, herbs and woods

: Description:

Berk Incense Burner Tender Little Flower with Screen. The vessel on which a fine-meshed screen vessel is placed is made of soapstone. Screen vessels are the alternative to burning incense on charcoal. The resins, herbs and woods are simply placed on the fine-meshed sieve. The rising heat of the tea light in the lower part of the vessel causes the incense to glow gently and slowly.

The dimensions of the incense burner:
Diameter: 7 cm
Height: 7.5 cm.
How to incense?
First put only a little incense granulate on the screen, because incense is very economical. After a few moments, the natural incense unfolds its wonderful aroma. Then add and mix other incense substances as needed.
With the ”spoon side“ of the brush you can move the pieces of incense on the sieve, either add them to the centre or push them a little to the edge to reduce the combustion. Caution. Do not touch the hot sieve when doing this!

Caution: risk of burning!
As soon as the tea light is burning, do not touch the screen or the incense burner directly. Wait at least 10 minutes after extinguishing the candle before removing the screen from the incense burner.

Cleaning the screen
You can clean the screen after use with the steel brush. Do not touch the screen until it has cooled down!
Note: resin residues that you cannot remove with the brush are best burnt over a candle (place an old newspaper underneath, as the resin may drip).
By the way: it is quite normal that the incense does not burn completely and that residues remain. Collect the residues and burn them over an open fire if you have the opportunity.

I am really a complete beginner when it comes to smoking. So far, I am very satisfied with the teapot warmer. You just need a tea light and some incense. I also ordered the Palo Santo wood (in pieces), which really smells like wood. Now I have seen that Elenatura offers thousands of incense blends. I'll have to stock up for the winter soon. Smoking on charcoal is not really my cup of tea. I tried it once at my friend's house. The whole flat just stank. With the tea light, the scent is much softer and more pleasant to the nose.

Ich bin ja wirklich blutiger Anfänger, was Räuchern betrifft.
