The independent and family-run company Cosmondial was founded in 2008 by Silke and Stephan Becker. It is based in Sulzbach am Main, a small municipality in the beautiful Bavarian Spessart Nature Park. The aim of the two was to create a cosmetics brand that combines the best of "conventional" cosmetics with certified, resources-conserving natural cosmetics - at extremely fair, affordable prices. This is how benecos came into being, a neologism made up of bene = good in Latin and cos = cosmetics. All benecos products are developed and produced without animal testing. This applies to the finished products as well as to the prototypes and all raw materials used in the products. Whenever possible, only vegan formulas without animal ingredients are used. Only individual products contain beeswax, honey, propolis or carmine for reasons of quality. Almost all benecos products bear the BDIH or COSMOS seal for certified natural and organic cosmetics. This is not only beneficial for the environment, but also for the skin.
