Bauck Organic Spelt Nut Burger Complete Mixture. Each pack can be used to prepare 4 large or 8–10 small spelt patties. Also as fillings for peppers, zucchini or tomatoes and as a base for casseroles. You just have to add water. The burgers get extra crispy if you roll them in sesame seeds or breadcrumbs. With an egg they become extra fluffy and with onion, cheese or garlic they become a real gourmet burger.
Basic recipe
Stir the contents in 200 ml of boiling water and allow to soak for 15 minutes.  Shape spoon-sized burgers with
moistened hands and fry golden brown in hot fat on both sides.

As well as the boiling water, I add three tablespoons of honey and mustard dressing. I immediately divide into four and bake in the oven. I find this combination to be very nice.

A big difference in taste to the tomato burger (my favourite so far) from Bauckhof! You should definitely like spelt, because the taste is very present. The burger mixture is very easy to prepare with boiling water, wait 15 minutes (during which time the pan can already be hot), form small patties and fry them in a coated pan or with oil on both sides. As a pancake with dip or in a burger as a meat substitute, the grainy spelt burgers are ready to eat in no time. If you eat too much of the crispy slices too quickly, the rich meal can be hard on your stomach - the satiety effect kicks in quickly.

Geschmacklich ein großer Unterschied zum Tomaten Burger (mein Favorit bisher) aus dem Hause Bauckhof! Man sollte Dinkel auf jeden Fall mögen, denn der Geschmack ist sehr präsent. Die Burgermischung lässt sich sehr leicht mit kochendem Wasser zubereiten, 15 Minuten warten (währenddessen kann die Pfanne schon heiß werden), kleine Bratlinge formen und ab in eine beschichtete Pfanne oder mit Öl von beiden Seiten angebraten. Als Puffer mit Dip oder im Burger als Fleischersatz, sind die körnigen Dinkelburger ruckzuck verzehrfertig. Wer zu viel zu schnell von den knusprigen Scheibchen isst, dem kann die reichhaltige Mahlzeit schwer im Magen liegen - der Sättigungseffekt tritt nämlich schnell ein.
