It's that simple:
Add these ingredients: 2-3 lemons: 75 ml lemon juice (50 ml for the batter / 25 ml for the icing), 100 g soft butter, 1 egg, 150 ml water, grated zest of one lemon
Vegan preparation: 2-3 lemons: 75 ml lemon juice (50 ml for the batter / 25 ml for the icing), 100 g soft margarine (suitable for baking), 150 ml water, grated zest of one lemon
- To prepare, preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat. Line the base of a springform tin (Ø26 cm) or baking dish (20 x 20 cm) with baking paper and grease the sides well.
- Pour the mixture for the dough into a bowl. Add the lemon juice (50 ml), zest, butter, egg and water and mix with a hand mixer to form a smooth batter.
For the vegan preparation, place the margarine, water, lemon juice (50 ml) and zest in a bowl with the mixture for the batter and mix with a hand mixer until smooth. - Spread the mixture into the baking tin and smooth out.
- Then bake in the oven at a medium height for approx. 30 minutes.
- Stir the icing sugar and remaining lemon juice (2-3 tbsp / 25 ml) until smooth and spread over the warm cake.
