Bauck Organic BananaBread Muffins Baking Mix. A snack with bananas and wholemeal - to take a deep breath and start afresh. Enjoy the wonderful harmony of banana and fine chocolate chips. Quick and easy to vary as a Better Muffin with bran, linseed and quark or Carrot Cake Muffin. Practical and handy and therefore ideal to take away, as a snack between meals or for a picnic in the park.
It's that simple:
Add these ingredients: 200-300 g ripe bananas (peeled) / equivalent to approx. 3-4 bananas, 110 ml neutral oil, 100 ml milk, 1 egg
Vegan preparation: 200-300 g ripe bananas (peeled) / equivalent to approx. 3-4 bananas, 110 ml neutral oil, 100 ml plant-based drink (e.g. oats)

  1. To prepare, preheat the oven to 180 °C with top and bottom heat. Place the 12 muffin cases in a muffin tray. (Alternatively, without a muffin tin: place the muffin tins on a baking tray).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until no (larger) pieces are visible.
  3. Mix the mixture for the batter with the mashed bananas, oil, milk and egg using a whisk or hand mixer to form a smooth batter.
    For the vegan preparation, mix the mixture with the mashed bananas, oil and plant-based drink using a whisk or hand mixer to form a smooth batter.
  4. Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cases.
  5. The baking time is approx. 25 minutes on a medium rack. Leave to cool on a wire rack before eating.
