Place the coconut block in a large vessel and let it swell in about 6 litres of lukewarm water for about 20 to 30 minutes. The coconut block swells up 8 to 9 times of its volume and takes on a peat-like consistency. The coconut block makes up to about 9 litres of potting soil ready to use.

Coconut block: Growing medium using vegetable substances from agriculture and forestry contains a lot of organic substance (> 80%)

Additional Information:

Please store the coconut block in a dry place. Due to the high organic substance, nitrogen may be bound in the soil. Contains boron in agronomically relevant quantities. Use only in soil-independent processes. The coconut block is not a fertiliser. You should fertilise your plants as usual and repot every 6 months.

Very nice and above all space-saving (!!) alternative to the classic plastic bag with potting soil. The potted plants I have grown in it so far have not noticed any difference.

Sehr schöne und vor allem platzsparende (!!) Alternative zum klassischen Plastiksack mit Blumenerde. Die Topfpflanzen, die ich bisher darin gezogen habe, haben keinen Unterschied gemerkt.

The coco block works as described and my potted plants seem to like it too. What I like best is that the block is much easier to store than a bag of soil. When I repot, I just take some of it off. It also makes much less mess!

Der Kokoblock funktioniert so wie beschrieben und meinen Topfpflanzen scheint es auch zu gefallen. War mir am besten gefällt ist, dass sich der Block viel besser Lagern läßt ein Sack mit Erde. Wenn ich umtopfe, mach ich einfach etwas davon ab. Es macht auch viel weniger Dreck!
