Contrary to what the packaging might suggest, Aries Mosquito Stop is not intended for the fragrance lamp or similar. Instead, the product is applied directly to the exposed skin. The liquid contains aloe vera and essential oils. And it works quite well. I tried it on the sultry evenings of the last few weeks and actually didn't get stung once. However, although it is an organic product, there are lots of warnings. Therefore, be careful when applying it to children. It should not get on the mouth, eyes or mucous membranes. The packaging size of the Mosquito Stop is also very suitable for travelling, but I find the glass bottle rather suboptimal for this. In my opinion, plastic would be better.

Anders als die Verpackung vielleicht vermuten lässt, ist Aries Mückenstop nicht für die Duftlampe oder ähnliches gedacht. Das Mittel wird stattdessen direkt auf die freien Hautstellen aufgetragen. Die Flüssigkeit enthält Aloe Vera und ätherische Öle. Und das wirkt recht gut. Ich habe es an den schwülen Abenden der letzten Wochen ausprobiert und wurde tatsächlich nicht einmal gestochen. Obwohl es ein Bioprodukt ist, gibt es aber jede Menge Warnhinweise. Daher Vorsicht bei der Anwendung an Kindern. Es sollte nicht an Mund, Augen oder Schleimhäute kommen. Die Verpackungsgröße des Mückenstop eignet sich auch sehr gut für unterwegs, allerdings finde ich dafür die Glasflasche eher suboptimal. Besser wäre meiner Meinung nach Plastik.
