: Review date:My favourite kind of rice syrup. Not too bland, not bitter, balanced taste. A bit tricky to keep the rim clean when taking out the syrup, but plastic-free :-)
Mein Lieblingssorte bei Reissirup. Nicht zu fad, nicht bitter, ausgewogen im Geschmack. Etwas knifflig, den Rand sauber zu halten beim rausholen des Sirups, aber plastikfrei :-)

: Review date:I have read that rice syrup is better than agave syrup, for example, so I always substitute this rice syrup in recipes with agave syrup (e.g. Attila's delicious Asian burgers). It works perfectly and tastes delicious. The only thing I would wish for is something foolproof to put it in, because I always spill with the spoon, no matter how I do it ;-)
Ich habe gelesen, dass Reissirup besser sein soll als z.B. Agavendicksaft, daher ersetze ich in Rezepten mit Agavendicksaft (z.B. den leckeren Asiaburgern von Attila) immer mit diesem Reissirup. Funktioniert bestens und schmeckt lecker. Ich würde mir höchstens was Deppensicheres zum Rausmachen wünschen, da ich mit dem Löffel immer kleckere, egal wie ich es anstelle. ;-)

I wouldn't compare it to honey in terms of taste, and I wouldn't put it on my bread, because I don't like it pure. However, the syrup is well suited for sweetening drinks and food. Only the handling is a bit difficult, because the liquid syrup sticks to everything that comes into contact with it. Therefore, caution is advised when taking it out. I don't know yet whether I will buy the rice syrup again.
Naja, wenn man sich erst einmal an den neuen Geschmack gewöhnt hat, ist der Reissirup ganz okay. Ist aber schon ein großer Unterschied zu normalem Zucker. Der Sirup hat einen eher karamelligen Geschmack und ist nicht so süß. Mit Honig würde ich ihn geschmacklich nicht vergleichen wollen und ihn mir auch nicht aufs Brot schmieren, denn pur mag ich ihn nicht. Zum Süßen von Getränken und Speisen ist der Sirup aber gut geeignet. Nur die Handhabung ist etwas schwierig, da der flüssige Sirup alles verklebt, was mit ihm in Berührung kommt. Daher ist bei der Entnahme Vorsicht geboten. Ob ich mir den Reissirup noch einmal kaufen werde, weiß ich aber noch nicht.

: Review date:I am currently looking for a new sweetener as a tasty alternative to granulated sugar. Among other things, I have also tried the rice syrup from Arche. The golden colour and chewy consistency of the product remind me of honey, but the taste is very different. It is more caramel-like. Compared to granulated sugar, the sweetness is much less intense. Care should be taken when removing the syrup from the jar, as it sticks like crazy to everything and anything. It is excellent for sweetening yoghurt, muesli or tea, but you can also use it directly as a sweet spread.
Ich bin momentan auf der Suche nach einem neuen Süßungsmittel für mich, als leckere Alternative zu Kristallzucker. Unter anderem habe ich auch den Reissirup von Arche probiert. Die goldene Farbe und die zähe Konsistenz des Produkts erinnern einen an Honig, der Geschmack unterscheidet sich jedoch stark davon. Dieser ist eher karamellig. Die Süße ist, im Vergleich zu Kristallzucker, weit weniger stark. Aufpassen sollte man beim Entnehmen des Sirups aus dem Glas, da dieser wie verrückt an allem und jedem klebt. Er eignet sich hervorragend zum Süßen von Joghurt, Müsli oder Tee, man kann ihn aber auch direkt als süßen Brotaufstrich verwenden.
