Annemarie Börlind Rose Nature

:

In ancient times, the rose was already considered the queen of flowers. Actually, one should speak of queens. Depending on how you count them, the genus rose contains between 100 and 250 species. Over the centuries, more than 30,000 rose varieties have been bred from these. The question of which is the most beautiful rose regularly leads to passionate discussions among breeders. In Europe, planting roses only became popular during the 18th century. In China, on the other hand, people were already enjoying the elegant flower 5,000 years ago. Because of their graceful shape, beguiling fragrance and beautiful blossoms, roses were considered the crowning glory of imperial palace gardens. Rose cultivation also has a long tradition in the Orient. The sensual scent of the rose inspired poets and storytellers to write wonderful tales long before the stories of the Arabian Nights. The idea of pressing rose oil from fragrant petals probably originated with the Persians.

In ancient Rome, rose oil and rose water were not only used for perfuming. Particularly rich Romans also used it to refine food, wine or bath water. Even then, this was one of the more decadent pleasures, because almost 4 tonnes of blossoms had to be picked for one litre of rose oil. Despite the complex extraction process, rose oil is still one of the most sought-after ingredients in cosmetics and care products. And this is not only due to its wonderful fragrance. Rose oil is also appreciated for its harmonising effect. It moisturises and has a calming effect on stressed skin. The petals of Damask roses are mainly used for cosmetic products. But essential oils of provence rose (Rosa Centifolia) and wild roses (Rosa Canina) can also be found in creams, serums and skin care oils. The Rose Nature skincare range by Annemarie Börlind shows that even very young cultivars can be used for innovative skin care.

In 2010, at the State Garden Show in Villingen-Schwenningen, a new rose variety delighted visitors with its graceful abundance of petals: the "Black Forest Rose". However, the Annemarie Börlind research team was particularly interested in its remarkable resilience. And so the high-quality active ingredients of the Black Forest Rose found their way into the formulas of the popular natural cosmetics brand. In everyday life, the skin is often exposed to many stress factors. That's why the Rose Nature skincare series uses not just one, but three varieties of rose. At the heart of the series is the exclusive PR3 rose complex developed by Annemarie Börlind. It combines the power of peony, black forest rose and desert rose.

The Rose Nature Oil-to-Milk Cleanser has a highly effective oil-gel texture to gently and thoroughly dissolve impurities such as make-up. The lightly cooling Rose Nature Blue Light Protection Spray provides a fresh glow after cleansing. The Rose Nature Supreme Glow Cream-Gel also supports the skin with moisture and soothing care. For night care, Annemarie Börlind has developed the regenerating Rose Nature Night Repair Drops. The Rose Nature Eye Cream-Gel plumps up tiredness lines around the eye area and makes the eyes look radiantly fresher. The Rose Nature care range by Annemarie Börlind supports the skin with a complex of peony, black forest rose and desert rose against stress-related skin ageing.
