ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND INTENSIVE CARE

:

When it comes to skin care many people first think of creams. No surprise – after all cream is one of the oldest and most common care product of all times. Unfortunately, most creams only provide moisture to the top layer of the skin. For the deeper layers they are simply not liquid enough. But those who want to maintain a youthful skin appearance as long as possible have to pay considerably more attention to skin care. For this purpose it is important to know the structure and the needs of the skin.

The subcutaneous is the deepest layer of skin. There are blood vessels and nerve fibers running through its fatty tissue. For this reason, the nutrient and oxygen supply for the skin is one of its tasks. In addition the subcutaneous manages the heat balance of the body, connects the skin to bones and muscles beyond and stores fat reserves in order to mobilize them in times of increased requirements. The subcutaneous is not only responsible for the supply but also for the beauty of the skin. Boosted fat cells in the subcutaneous are the basis for visibly firm skin. But you need to do something for it. Most care products are useless as they don't even reach the subcutaneous. The subcutaneous is best supported by a reasonable life-style, avitamin-rich diet, spending time in the fresh air, a bit of sport, avoiding smoking and an excessive alcohol consumption and of course drinking plenty of liquid. Tea and mineral water are a solid foundation for a beautiful complexion.

The middle layer of the skin is the dermis (corium). In it there are the sensory cells of the skin that are responsible for the sense of touch, temperature and pain. The dermis is composed primarily of connective tissue to anchor the epidermis. But it also contains the sebaceous and sweat glands. The dermis is responsible for elasticity and stability. By activating the sweat glands it regulates the body temperature. Since the epidermis does not have an own blood circulation, the dermis is also responsible for the supply of the epidermis. Not all care products are suitable for supporting this middle layer of skin. Most fatty creams do not get through the dermis. Usually only more liquid skin care products in the form of fluids, gels or serums are capable of it.

The outermost skin layer is the epidermis. The epidermis is the protective shield of the body against environmental influences. It prevents the percolation of water, of pathogens and foreign bodies into the organism. If the skin is too dry due to prolonged sunbathing, hot showers or warm heating, we first feel it with the epidermis. The epidermis is mainly composed of horn cells. They are constantly being repelled and get reproduced immediately. The epidermis is approximately renewed in a monthly rhythm. This outermost layer of the skin determines how appealing a gentle neck, a bare shoulder or bare calves are. This is probably the reason why most cosmetic products are specifically dedicated to the care of the epidermis. But skin care should never be just superficial.

More and more people are paying close attention to cosmetics without chemicals when it comes to skin care. In the world of natural cosmetics, the care products by ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND have been well established for many years. ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND has developed system care series for different skin types, each with five care steps: Cleansing, strengthening, protection for the day, care for the night and eye care. The second step ”strengthening“ prepares the skin for the subsequent care and strengthens its effect. The moisturizing products have a soothing, balancing or regenerating effect. They go deep into the skin and provide a clearly noticeable care result just within a short time of application. In addition, the skin benefits from the synergetic effects of the ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND care products supporting each other.

The SKIN & PORE BALANCER with sebum-regulating lilac and pore-refining phytoplankton is an Intensive Concentrate for large-pored combination skin. The SKIN & PORE BALANCER is recommended in combination with the Series for COMBINATION SKIN. The Intensive Concentrate ANTI-AGING REVITALIZER is the ideal addition to the System Care SYSTEM ABSOLUTE. Szechuan pepper and pistachio tree oil regenerate demanding skin and reduce lines and wrinkles. The ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND VITAMIN ENERGIZER with extracts of goji berries, acai berries and sea buckthorn berries is an Intensive Concentrate for tired skin that needs an extra vitamin kick to revitalize.

The HYDRO BOOSTER is an Intensive Concentrate for dry skin that can store only little moisture and therefore requires more moisture. The concentrate has a moisturizing, padding and refreshing effect. Red alga stimulates the skin's own hyaluronic acid production and fungal dither provides the skin with botanical hyaluronic acid. The HYDRO BOOSTER is the perfect complement for the Care System AQUANATURE. For sensitive skin, which is hypersensitive to heat, cold, stress and other factors and tends to redden, ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND has developed the Intensive Concentrate SOS SENSITIVE. An active complex of balloon plant extract, black currant seed oil and licorice root stabilizes the protective barrier of the skin and reduces redness.

The System Care Series by ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND offer optimally coordinated products for the individual care steps. The Intensive Concentrates supplement these with targeted active ingredients tailored to individual skin conditions.
