: Review date:This fruity spread from Allos has something oriental about it for me: the whole lentils are joined by small pieces of aubergine and pepper. I also notice a slight acidity in the bright orange-coloured vegetable spread and like to use it as a change from tomato puree and cream cheese, which I usually use as a butter substitute on my bread. I can also imagine using the yellow lentil spread with grilled vegetables as a spicy addition to tomato sauces to give the familiar flavour a new twist.
Dieser fruchtige Aufstrich von Allos hat für mich etwas Orientalisches an sich: zu den ganzen Linsen gesellen sich kleine Stückchen von Aubergine und Paprika. Ich nehme auch eine leichte Säure in dem kräftig orangefarbenen Gemüseaufstrich wahr und nutze ihn gerne als Abwechslung zu Tomatenmark und Frischkäse, die ich sonst als Butterersatz auf meinem Brot verwende. Als Idee kann ich mir auch vorstellen, den gelbe Linse-Aufstrich mit Grillgemüse als würzige Ergänzung in Tomatensaucen einzusetzen, um der bekannten Würze eine neue Richtung zu geben.

With its strong flavour, the lentil spread grilled vegetables is therefore less suitable for me as a vegan butter substitute, but rather as a "stand-alone" spread without putting extra cold cuts on rolls and the like.
Der kräftig orangefarbene Aufstrich von Allos enthält große Paprika- und Auberginenstücke und schmeckt für meinen Gaumen fruchtig-säuerlich. Mit seinem starken Eigengeschmack ist der Linsen-Aufstrich Grillgemüse daher für mich weniger als veganer Butterersatz geeignet, sondern eher als "eigenständiger" Aufstrich ohne extra Aufschnitt auf Brötchen und Co. zu legen.
