Ich finde, man muss den Geschmack erst "verstehen", aber sofern man sich drauf einlässt, ist das auf jeden Fall die schmackhaftere Reiswaffel! Kann man absolut ohne Probleme pur essen, aber bestrichen ergeben sich durch die interessante Würzung immer neue Geschmackswundertüten! Find's richtig klasse!

Ich kenne die in den Rezessionen genannte frühere Version der Waffeln leider nicht aber die heutigen schmecken mir sehr gut. Mit selbstgemachten Spargelpesto ein Traum. Aber nicht nur damit, bin mich aber noch am durchprobieren was am besten dazu passt. Ich mag das Brotgewürz darin. Und auch die Amaranth Körner sind deutlich sichtbar.

In the meantime, the Allos wafers are just as cardboard as all the "competitor products". Maybe they used to crumble more, maybe they didn't spread smoothly, but they tasted so good back then that I could eat them plain and consisted of visible corn and amaranth grains. Now they are just ordinary-boring, squashed cardboard. The Allos company only replied to my complaint with empty phrases.
Tja, die Rezensionen sind alle mindestens 3 Jahre alt und beziehen sich noch auf die ursprüngliche Rezeptur und Herstellungsweise. Inzwischen sind die Allos-Waffeln genau so eine Pappe wie die ganzen "Konkurrenzprodukte". Vielleicht haben sie früher mehr gekrümelt, vielleicht ließen sie sich nicht glatt bestreichen, aber sie schmeckten damals so gut, dass ich sie pur essen konnte und bestanden aus sichtbaren Mais- und Amaranth-Körnern. Jetzt sind sie einfach nur noch gewöhnlich-langweilig, gequetschte Pappe. Die Firma Allos hat nur mit Floskeln auf meine Beschwerde geantwortet.

: Review date:These waffles don't taste as bland as the usual rice waffles. The puffed corn goes quite well with amaranth, and the waffles have a slightly nutty flavour. Personally, I like the fact that they are spiced with fennel, aniseed and caraway. I also like the mixture very much as a tea and it is also good for digestion. It's a real change from all the chocolate and yoghurt-covered waffles.I like to nibble a waffle in the office when the slight hunger pangs hit at half past nine in the morning. You don't really need anything on it, but they taste good with cheese and vegetarian toppings too.
Diese Waffeln schmecken nicht so fad wie die üblichen Reiswaffeln. Der gepuffte Mais passt ganz gut mit Amaranth zusammen, die Waffeln haben einen leicht nussigen Geschmack. Mit persönlich gefällt am besten daran, dass sie mit Fenchel, Anis und Kümmel gewürzt sind. Die Mischung mag ich auch als Tee sehr gerne und für die Verdauung ist sie auch gut. Das ist eine echte Abwechslung zu den ganzen Waffeln mit Schoko- und Joghurt-Überzug.Ich knabbere gerne im Büro eine Waffel, wenn der leichte Hunger um halb zehn am Vormittag kommt. Man braucht eigentlich nichts drauf, aber mit Käse und vegetarischen Auftrichen schmecken sie auch.
