Alce Nero Organic Borlotti Beans. Borlotti beans are characterised by their yellowish-red, striped pods. The raw seeds are ivory-coloured with burgundy-brown speckles and develop a darker colour and a pleasantly floury, creamy consistency when cooked. Ideal for savoury soups, creamy stews and classic minestrone.

Application:
Soak the beans for about 12 hours, taking care to drain them before cooking. To prevent them from hardening, it is advisable to cook them in unsalted water. Cooking time is approx. 45-50 minutes.
