The third jar was not as good as it used to be, the oil was ok, but the hard parts spoilt the enjoyment. I expect a flawless product at such a high price. It's not Violey's fault, but as a seller I would contact the manufacturer. I will probably go back to LaSelva, the olive oils have always been good.

Das dritte Glas war auch nicht mehr so gut, wie früher, das Öl war ok, aber die harten Teile haben den Genuss getrübt. Zu dem stolzen Preis erwarte ich ein einwandfreies Produkt. Dafür kann Violey zwar nichts, aber als Verkäufer würde ich den Hersteller dazu kontaktieren. Werde wohl wieder auf LaSelva zurückgreifen, die in Olivenöl waren bisher immer gut.

Unfortunately, these artichokes are no longer what they used to be. The oil doesn't taste good to me, unlike in the past. There are also a few harder parts in the jar. The price is okay, but the quality is no longer right for me.

Today I opened the second jar of Alce Nero artichokes, and they are just as I remember them from before: the oil smells good, the artichokes are soft, without any hard parts. Was the first jar perhaps an isolated case? I will now order some more, and if there are any bad ones in there again, I will send them back to Violey for testing.

Heute habe ich das zweite Glas der Alce Nero Artischocken geöffnet, und die sind so, wie ich sie von früher her kenne: Das Öl riecht gut, die Artischocken sind weich, ohne harte Teile. War das erste Glas evtl. ein Einzelfall?! Ich werde mir nun nochmals welche bestellen, und wenn da wieder ungute drin sind, schicke ich sie zur Prüfung zurück an Violey.
