Heuschrecke Organic Zatar Spice Blend. A finely crushed spice blend used in Levantine cuisine. Heuschrecke’s fruity, tangy blend contains no sesame or salt. Zatar enhances flatbreads and dips, but is also ideal for seasoning couscous, vegetables, meat or fish, or for use in recipes from the Middle East, Turkey and North Africa.

Användning:
Mix in a 1:1 ratio with toasted sesame seeds and salt, or with gomasio (sesame salt), to taste, and stir into olive oil.
Uses: Works wonderfully in salad dressings, creamy dips and as a finishing seasoning on dishes and baked goods (pita/pizza).
