Whether served as a side dish or a main course, there are many different ways to prepare it. Creamy and firm to the bite, Ribe Risotto rice is an ideal base for all kinds of rich risotto dishes.
Basic preparation for 2 portions:
Heat 600 ml of fond or vegetable stock. In a saucepan, gently fry 1 chopped onion in olive oil, then add 150 g of risotto rice and fry for 2-3 minutes. Gradually add the hot liquid and simmer for approx. 25-30 minutes over a medium heat with the lid on, until the risotto is creamy. Stir occasionally.
