Melitta Anti Calc Powder

Universal Quick Descaler

Melitta Anti Calc Powder. 100% citric acid. Thanks to its fine powder texture, it dissolves particularly quickly. This residue-free solution is therefore well suited for the powerful descaling of coffee machines, kettles and hot water dispensers, fully automatic coffee machines and single-serve machines.
Application of the coffee machine:
  1. Fill the glass jug with ½ litre of cold water.
  2. Add the contents of one sachet and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Pour the solution into the coffee machine’s water tank.
  4. Allow half the liquid to run through, then switch off the machine.
  5. After approx. 10–20 minutes, allow the remaining liquid to run through.
  6. Then run 2 full water tanks of clean water through the machine.
Application for kettles and hot water dispensers:
  1. Fill the appliance with cold water up to the limescale mark.
  2. Add one sachet’s worth per litre and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Heat the liquid, but do not bring to the boil.
  4. Leave to soak for 10–20 minutes.
  5. Rinse the appliance thoroughly twice.
Application for fully automatic coffee machines/single-serve machines:
  1. Dissolve the contents of two sachets in water.
  2. Carry out the descaling procedure in accordance with the machine manufacturer’s operating instructions.

Regular descaling maintains and protects your appliances and helps them perform at their best. Descale once a month or after 40 brews at the latest.

Before descaling, please follow the manufacturer’s care instructions. Immediately wipe up any spilled descaling solution with an absorbent cloth.

If there is a heavy build-up of limescale, add 2 sachets.
