Melitta Anti Calc Organic Universal Descaler

100% citric acid of natural origin¹

Melitta Anti Calc Organic Universal Descaler. The liquid descaler based on citric acid ensures effective descaling in the household. Suitable for many common household appliances such as coffee machines and kettles. It is compatible with materials when used correctly.
¹ The citric acid contained is obtained from raw materials containing sugar in a biotechnological production process.

Application: Please follow the manufacturer's instructions for use for all applications. Do not use on acid-sensitive materials.

Filter coffee machines:
  1. Add 1-2 partial strokes of Melitta Anti Calc Universal Descaler to 500 ml of water.
  2. Pour the mixture into the machine's water tank.
  3. Switch on the machine and allow the mixture to run through.
  4. After descaling, run through two full water tanks with clear water.

Fully automatic coffee machines, capsule & pod machines:
Descale your fully automatic coffee machine or single-serve machine regularly, depending on the water hardness level in your region or after 100 brews at the latest.
Very hard: every 3 weeks, hard: every 4 weeks, soft and medium hard: every 5 weeks. You can find out the exact details of the water hardness in your region from your waterworks.
  1. Pour 3 partial strokes of Melitta® Anti Calc liquid universal descaler into 500 ml of water.
  2. Pour the mixture into the machine's water tank and descale according to the appliance manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Then rinse the appliance with plenty of clean water.
Shower heads, taps, stainless steel, plastic, ceramic and chrome surfaces:
  1. Apply Melitta Anti Calc Universal Descaler undiluted with a cloth or dip objects into Melitta® Anti Calc liquid universal descaler.
  2. Leave to take effect.
  3. Rinse and wipe well.

Also suitable for descaling hot water appliances such as kettles, pressure cookers, egg boilers, immersion heaters, tea/coffee pots, irons, dishwashers and burnt stainless steel pots and pans! Follow the care instructions of the appliance manufacturer.

Do not use on acid-sensitive surfaces such as marble, aluminium and galvanised and enamelled appliances.
