Alce Nero Organic Whole Emmer Wheat Couscous. Made from 100% Italian organic emmer and prepared in just 5 minutes - a nutty alternative to classic couscous. The pre-steamed wholemeal emmer semolina comes from the Mezzaluna Fertile region, where the ancient grain has been cultivated for over 5,000 years. The fluffy grains can be enjoyed warm or cold and go perfectly with meat, fish, vegetables or as a base for creative salads inspired by North African tradition.

Utilisation:

Place 70 g of couscous per person in a wide, shallow container. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and mix with a fork until the couscous is well loosened. Add 100 ml boiling water per portion, cover with a lid, leave to swell for 5 minutes and loosen again with a wooden spoon. If desired, add a knob of butter and heat for 1-2 minutes until the butter has melted. Serve with any side dish.
