Dried seaweed

TerraSana Organic Instant Wakame. A ready-to-eat form of wakame. You only need to soak it for a few minutes and possibly boil or fry it for a minute. The flavour is hearty and delicate and goes very well with fresh, crunchy vegetables such as cucumber and carrot. Also delicious in (miso) soup. Practical, versatile and ready to use.

Soak the wakame seaweed in cold water for 2 minutes and use it in salads, rice or noodle dishes. Or add it to (miso) soup just before serving.

After opening, store in an airtight container in a dry, dark place at room temperature (max. 20°C).

Note: Wakame is naturally rich in iodine. Excessive consumption can lead to thyroid dysfunction. The German Federal Office for Risk Assessment recommends a maximum intake of 0.2 mg iodine per day for adults. This corresponds to a portion of 1 gram of instant wakame about 2-3 times a week.
