Dennree Organic Falafel Mix. Organic falafel offers pure enjoyment. For the gluten-free and vegan dennree falafel mix, dried organic chickpeas are processed into meal and flour and refined with typical spices from Arabic cuisine. The crispy balls taste great warm or cold with salad, various dips or flatbread. Enjoy the nutty, spicy flavour of this oriental speciality.
Ingredients
  • 1 pack of dennree falafel mix
  • 250 ml water
  • Vegetable oil, Optional: 1 onion or 1/2 bunch of fresh coriander
Preparation:
  1. Mix the contents of the packet in a bowl with 250 ml boiling water and leave to soak for 15 minutes. 
  2. Optional: Finely chop the onion or coriander, add to the mixture and mix well. 
  3. With moistened hands, form approx. 16 teaspoon-sized balls and fry in a pan with plenty of oil until golden brown on all sides or prepare in a deep fryer.
