: Review date:Fontaine is a great company where the processed bonito is still caught by hand. I'm happy to pay a little more for a clear conscience. The can contains no flavour enhancers, no preservatives and no other strange additives. Apart from water and salt, nothing else is added. The taste of the bonito is very high quality and tastes like fish without tasting fishy. However, the bonito is a little too dry for me on its own. I have therefore eaten it mixed with a little oil, onions and spices with spaghetti. That was delicious. That's why I'll order the bonito with olive oil next time.
Fontaine ist eine tolle Firma, bei der der verarbeitete Bonito noch mit der Handangel gefischt wurde. Für ein gutes Gewissen zahle ich auch gerne mal ein bisschen mehr. In der Dose sind keine Geschmacksverstärker, keine Konservierungsstoffe und auch sonst keine komischen Zusätze enthalten. Außer Wasser und Salz kommt nichts weiter dazu. Geschmacklich ist der Bonito sehr hochwertig – schmeckt nach Fisch ohne fischig zu schmecken. Allerdings ist mir der Bonito pur etwas zu trocken. Ich habe ihn daher, mit ein wenig Öl, Zwiebeln und Gewürzen gemischt, zu Spaghetti gegessen. Das war lecker. Deswegen werde ich mir das nächste Mal lieber mal den Bonito mit Olivenöl bestellen.

Die Thunfischfilets schmecken wirklich sehr saftig und sind nicht verwässert. Gut finde ich, dass auf die Zugabe von Konservierungs- und Farbstoffen verzichtet wird. Auch die Fangart hat mich überzeugt, denn wenn Thunfisch drauf steht, dann soll auch nur Thunfisch drin sein. Der Thunfisch ist seinen Preis auf jeden Fall wert.
