Holle Organic Infant Formula 1 is made from 99% organically produced ingredients, e.g. organic milk from cows raised in their natural environment (according to EU regulations).
Without a doubt, breast milk is best for your baby. It contains a fullness of valuable protective and active ingredients, like antigens, which are needed to build up baby’s powers of resistance. Breast milk is literally available at any time and has always the right temperature. The intense skin contact during breastfeeding generates a highly emotional feeling of harmony and security between mother and child. Therefore, Holle recommends pure breastfeeding in the first six month and afterwards continued breastfeeding, together with a balanced additional diet according to age. In general, the base ingredient of baby nutrition is cow milk. This milk is adapted as far as possible to breast milk. Metabolism of babies is not completely functional in the first months of living. To avoid stress for this young system, all baby food has to be easy to digest. Therefore, milk fat is partly or completely substituted by vegetable fat. Holle organic baby milk nutrition 1 can be solely used from day one until additional by-food is introduced. During weaning, Holle organic baby milk nutrition 1 is perfect for additional feeding and can be used in the context of a mixed diet until the end of the first year of living. After the 6th month, a change to organic baby follow-on milk 2 is possible. As follow-on milk can be used as part of a mixed diet, the change should be done only after one or two additional by-food dishes are fed daily. Holle organic baby milk nutrition consists of 99% ingredients coming from organic farming, for example organic whole milk from cows kept species-appropriate.
